Abstract
Multi-robot cooperation is a critical technology for nanorobotics and nanomedicine. Coordinating nanorobots to find cancer cells in blood vessel is usually a task of multi-robot cooperation. It is challenging for a nanorobbot to decide the time and doses to release drugs eradicating cancer cells when it is approaching the target. This paper presents a nanorobot control algorithm based on Quorum Sensing (QS) to control the population of robots and drug release rate in cancer area. In the algorithm, nanorobots use a chemical signal like autoinducer of bacteria to estimate the number of their neighbors. And simulations have been conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the algorithm in a local field of blood vessel.
