Abstract

The involvement of robotic devices as drones, mobile robots and tractors can make agricultural operations more effective, faster, and more sustainable. This study reports the simulation in ROS environment of a four wheeled electrical robot useful for soil fertilization in open fields. The developed environment is represented by parallel rows of tomatoes and mobile obstacles. The robot manages to perform the task implementing the autonomous navigation using some waypoints saved in a warm-up lap.
