Abstract
This paper proposes a simple control for a robot dog to accompany the older people. The device is a combination of a two axis acceleration sensor module and the Zigbee communication module for a wireless remote control device. This device can reduce inconvenience and improve the interaction between users and the robot dog, making it easier for older users to accept it. The results show the output of a two axis acceleration sensor module and the Zigbee communication module. The gait, following two axis accelerometer sensor module output, is divided into four kinds of output mode setting switches: forward, backward turn, left turn, right turn. The two axis acceleration sensor module is based on a y axis output and the x axis output signal of the duty cycle determines the direction of rotation of the robot dog.
