Abstract
This chapter mainly describes intelligent robotic systems for security purposes. An intelligent snake robot is described as an active contour model that uses energy to copy the locomotion of a biological snake. The prototype model developed was given numerous tests to try to optimize its attributes. The tests included making the robot stream videos in various light settings to adjust the code so that the snake robot takes high-quality HD videos that are easy to analyze regardless of the light settings. The snake robot can stream videos on to a web page that can be accessed through any device that has a web browser and is connected to the same IP address as the Raspberry Pi.
