Abstract
In recent years, one of the main drivers of educational innovation has been the introduction and use of information and communication technologies in the classroom. The use of computers, digital whiteboards and tablets as devices that facilitate learning, whether through gamification, virtual reality, 3D printing, etc., are some of them. In this article, the interest focuses on Educational Robotics and classroom programming, that is, how through robotics, thinking and logic can be developed (transformed into computational thinking). Through this documentary review, we intend to unravel what is the educational dimension, if any, of the use of these devices in the school stage, going through the evolution of thought and educational robotics and ending with several investigations carried out in the area.
