Abstract

Many accidents due to short circuits, gas leakages, etc. will not allow an ordinary person to enter the accident area so as to reduce further damage. Such accidents are increasing day-to-day due to lack of awareness, precautionary measures and ignorance. This paper presents an intelligent security system useful for most of the home and industry applications by using remote controlling techniques along with wireless Internet applications. This arrangement includes environment detection module, diagnosis module, appliance control modules and robotic modules. Multiple sensors were used for detection process, Wireless RF interface for communication, event condition voice alarms for alerting and a master controller was used as a controller of above mentioned modules. A general user interface (GUI) was designed for intelligent security system, which supervises above said modules. This user interface also supervises the robotic modules with the help of wireless RF interface and GSM based mobile phone applications for remote supervision. Apart from these, the proposed method was also successfully tested an external home security system in the absence of human mobility or can be used as an intruder detection system. Successful outputs of sensory and communication modules were delivered in this project. In case of intruders images were captured by the in-built camera and an alert was raised via SMS and emails. The time taken by this complete process recorded to be within a range of few milliseconds.
