Abstract
Subway ventilation and smoke exhaust ducting is vital for preventing disasters underground, but it is too difficult to shuttle and clean the ducting manually for its massive distribution and wide size range. Out of auto and safe purposes, a special robot has been researched and developed, and it is the first choice for ducting tightness test, cleaning, and local environment monitoring etc. Seeing the extremely strong electromagnetic shielding effect of metal ducting, this paper introduces an automatic setting-down wireless transmission module, which uses rectangular waveguide effect of metal ducting to test cut-off state of electromagnetic waves in metal duct through specific simulation experiments, and analyzes the transmission loss of wireless signals under different scenarios, which is a good solution for wireless signal transmission in subway ventilation ducting.
