Abstract
In outdoor mobile robotics the challenge is to give a realistic representation of environment including numerous moving and static objects. The radar seems a well-adapted sensor in such situations. A new intertwined linear waveform principle is presented here showing that targets range and velocity could be measured simultaneously with high resolution and accuracy. A dynamic simulator of this radar in realistic environments has been developed to test its performance.
