Abstract
Aiming at the problem of difficult inspection and high cost of belt conveyor in underground coal mine, a monitoring system of belt conveyor based on the suspension inspection robot was developed. The control, information sensing, positioning and communication module functions of the suspension inspection robot system were described. The network structure and function of the robot's driving mechanism, walking mechanism, bending mechanism, module carrying frame, and the network architecture and function of the belt conveyor monitoring system were designed in detail. This system replaces manual inspection, and timely finds out problems and alarm feedback through real-time data analysis, so as to guarantee the safe operation of belt conveyor.
