Abstract
The motive for the research of micromechanism initiated by Professor Emeritus T. Hayashi, Tokyo Institute of Technology, and also the following micro robot researches in these several years in Japan are described by classifying them into moving mechanisms (on plane, in pipe, in liquid, in human body, and under ceiling), wireless energy supply, autonomous motion control, and sensor.
