Abstract
Wie man einem Roboter auf die Sprünge hilft: Mithilfe chemischer Hochtemperaturreaktionen gelingt es, einen weichen Roboter aus Siliconelastomeren in Gang zu setzen. Computergesteuerte Funken lösen die Verbrennung von vorgemischtem O2 und CH4 im Roboter aus. Die Explosionen setzen die pneumatischen Kanäle des Roboters unter Druck und bringen ihn zum springen (siehe Bild).
