摘要

3D printing, especially Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM), offers great advantages when developing prototypes, depositing nanomaterials, and laser Nano-structuring. It can assist product development and Nano-manufacturing by offering low start-up costs, low manufacturing costs, and relatively low production times. However, some major disadvantages follow the technology when using the traditional 3-axis printers. This work presents the development cycle of a robotic 3D printer, as a technology that can combat these disadvantages. The process planning, execution, and documentation methods are presented, additionally, a working prototype is demonstrated along with recommendations and perspectives for further work on the subject.
