Robotics: Present and future

摘要

The state and the perspective of development of robotics are described. The role of industrial robots in creation of modern automated manufacturing is shown. The latest development in the field of intellectual robots creation and the examples of their usage are described. Miniaturization as a process of improvement of the robotized technologies is considered. The stages of development of robots and computers are compared. It is indicated that scientists draw a conclusion that, similar to computers, the development of robotics will lead, in the near future, to a new technological revolution significantly influencing the quality of life of the human being.
