摘要
Robotic arm has been in the industrial sectors for so many years which has increased productivity and reduces the fatigue or an injury towards the man. In order to optimize the usage of the robot arm, the robot arm is effective when it comes to testing on different scenarios and evaluate the results on the robot arm performance in a virtual environment which helps to reduce time, risks and cost rather than build the robot arm physically. The purpose of this paper is to develop model of the robot arm 5-axis Mitsubishi RV-2AJ in a virtual environment. Solidworks, a virtual environment platform is used to develop a model of 5-axis Mitsubishi RV-2AJ. Each part of the robot's body is modelled separately using the real dimensions while ignoring the small parts that do not affect the performance of the robot, for instance, screws. At the end of the modelling process, each part is assembled and form a complete set of the robot arm. The results show the robot arm able to operate in its operating range while using the real dimensions in modelling the robot arm in Solidwork.
