摘要
The accelerated proliferation of cloud computing has been facilitated by fog computing, with real-time interactive use cases emerging as one of the most feasible answers to the problem of end-user proximity. Despite significant efficiency improvements, today's cloud services require massive quantities of energy and network, and this demand is only anticipated to expand in the future. Fog is one of the technologies that improve cloud computing's usability by bringing users closer together. While most case studies of fog/cloud environments focus on healthcare scenarios, we focus on developing a fog environment for industrial robotics and production management. The research presented here is modeled using the most turning cloud computing tool. We subsequently compare the energy usage, network utilization, latency, and execution time of cloud and fog-based approaches.
