摘要

Biomimetic Soft Robots The combination of photo-thermal effect of Au and the mismatch between thermal expansion coefficients of LDPE film and PI adhesive has enabled the design of sandwich-structured photo-responsive PI/Au/LDPE nanocomposite film. Thanks to its dexterous geometry design, stable and reversible photo-responsive actuation behavior, and remote and precise driven mode, biomimetic soft robots with pre-engineered functionality and complex locomotion have been devised. More details can be found in article 2100012 by Li Yu, Qian Wang, Xianbao Wang, and co-workers.
