摘要

The system based on brain computer interface has been developed from past 30 years and now grown into the vast and diverse field. The first brain activity signal is recorded by Berger in year 1942. The electrical signal which are generated by brain activity is also known as Electroencephalogram (EEG). The system which depends on Electroencephalogramshould capable to provide more controlled variable commands to the user. The control capability of this signal have been depend on the electrodes and the noise reduction technique used for preparing the system. Now a days the electrodes are getting better and have very large range of selection criteria depends on application such as the gel based electrodes are used to obtain the high sensitivity for better resolution. Recently various sensors (electrodes) are introduced for producing high quality brain signal with less distortion compareto gel based electrodes. The signal acquisition system are also getting better by using the op-amp based filter circuits and composite instrumentation amplifier integrated circuit. The aim of BCI is to control the robotics machinery with better accuracy. The main use of BCI is to control the wheelchair or robotic limb movement for the disable person and can be used to accessing security system. The BCI can be used to discover the emotions which is also use to control the surrounding environment such as controlling the interior of the car or house.
