About
Zaid Awad is a pioneering head and neck surgeon whose work centers on advancing transoral robotic surgery (TORS) to improve outcomes for patients with oropharyngeal cancer. His major contributions lie in demonstrating the feasibility and functional benefits of robotic-assisted techniques, particularly for complex cases such as salvage surgery after chemoradiotherapy and resection of oligometastatic disease.
