Yuma Waseda is a leading urological surgeon and researcher whose work centers on advancing robot-assisted surgery for bladder and prostate cancers, with a particular focus on optimizing outcomes for elderly and high-risk patients. His major contributions include landmark studies using Japan’s nationwide Diagnosis Procedure Combination database to evaluate robot-assisted radical cystectomy (RARC).
