Yuheng Wu is a rising scholar in human-robot interaction (HRI), whose work probes the psychological dynamics that shape how people relate to social robots. Her research centers on the social and emotional dimensions of HRI, particularly how principles from human–human communication—such as self-disclosure and liking—translate into human–robot contexts. In her most-cited paper, “Does Self-Disclosing to a Robot Induce Liking for the Robot?
