Yeqing Cheng is a leading scholar in economic geography and global production networks (GPNs), with a particular focus on the industrial robot industry and China’s evolving role in high-tech manufacturing. Her research explores how domestic market forces and state policies reconfigure production networks, challenging traditional North-South technology transfer models.
