About
Yao Zhu is an emerging clinical researcher whose work sits at the intersection of robotic urologic surgery and perioperative patient optimization. Operating within a rapidly evolving surgical landscape, Zhu has focused on improving outcomes for patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures, particularly robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) and robot-assisted partial nephrectomy (RAPN). Among Zhu's notable contributions is a clinically significant investigation into the use of electrical impedance tomography (EIT)-guided individualized positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) settings in elderly surgical patients.
