About

Dr. Xiaohui Ding is a pioneering urologic surgeon whose research is redefining the surgical management of urologic cancers, particularly renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and prostate cancer. Based at the Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital, Dr. Ding's work centers on advanced surgical techniques and precision diagnostics. A landmark contribution is the first prospective trial demonstrating the feasibility of radical prostatectomy without prior biopsy in select patients, guided by PSMA PET/CT and multiparametric MRI—a paradigm-shifting approach that could spare patients unnecessary procedures (19 citations).
