About
Woong Bin Kim is a pioneering urologic surgeon whose work centers on minimally invasive robotic surgery, complex ureteral reconstruction, and the management of urologic malignancies in challenging patient populations. His major contributions include advancing robot-assisted techniques for rare and high-risk conditions, such as performing the first reported robotic pyeloureterostomy for a traumatic ureteropelvic junction rupture sustained in a traffic accident—a case that demonstrated the feasibility of robotic reconstruction in trauma settings.
