About

Suhyeon Gim is a pioneering robotic surgeon whose work has significantly advanced the field of minimally invasive surgery, particularly through the development and validation of novel surgical robotic systems. His primary research focuses on robotic surgical platforms, active cannula robots, and improving hand-eye coordination during complex procedures. Gim's most impactful contribution is his leadership in the preclinical validation of the Revo-i (MSR-5000), a newly developed Korean robotic surgical system.
