Stefan Fichtner‐Feigl is a leading figure in the advancement of minimally invasive surgery, with a particular focus on robotic applications in both emergency and elective settings. His work is instrumental in defining how robotic technology can be safely and effectively integrated into acute care surgery, a field traditionally dominated by open and laparoscopic approaches.
