Dr. Shourong Shen is a leading molecular oncologist whose pioneering work has fundamentally advanced our understanding of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). His research centers on cancer genomics, gene expression profiling, and the molecular pathology of epithelial cancers. Dr. Shen’s landmark 2003 study, which has garnered 71 citations, introduced an innovative application of suppression subtractive hybridization (SSH) combined with cDNA microarray technology.
