Shinobu Ohnuma is a leading colorectal surgeon whose research focuses on improving outcomes in minimally invasive surgery for rectal cancer and congenital biliary conditions. His work has been instrumental in understanding and mitigating the functional consequences of surgical treatment, particularly male sexual dysfunction after rectal cancer surgery.
