About
Dr. Shih‐Chieh Chueh is a pioneering urologic surgeon and researcher whose work has significantly advanced the field of minimally invasive surgery for urologic cancers. His research centers on robotic and laparoendoscopic single-site (LESS) techniques for renal, adrenal, and prostate malignancies, with a particular focus on optimizing oncologic outcomes while preserving organ function. Dr. Chueh’s major contributions include demonstrating the safety and efficacy of robotic partial nephrectomy for complex T3a renal cell carcinoma, showing comparable oncologic control to radical nephrectomy while preserving renal function—a finding supported by his highly cited 2016 study (29 citations).
