Seung Hee Kim is a rising environmental remote sensing scientist whose work focuses on advancing the characterization of atmospheric aerosols and their impacts on air quality. Her primary research areas include satellite-based aerosol optical depth (AOD) retrieval, data gap-filling using machine learning, and the novel application of nighttime AOD for particulate matter (PM) estimation.
