Sanjay Pandanaboyana is a leading hepatopancreatobiliary surgeon whose research is reshaping how we understand and perform pancreatic surgery. His work centers on the comparative effectiveness and cost-efficiency of minimally invasive techniques—including laparoscopic and robotic approaches—versus traditional open surgery for complex pancreatic resections.
