About

Ricardo Amils is a pioneering astrobiologist whose research bridges the extreme environments of Earth and the search for life beyond it. His work centers on the Rio Tinto river in southwestern Spain, a hyperacidic, iron-rich environment that serves as a powerful analog for Mars.
