Dr. Renato Bastos Pope is a pioneering Brazilian cardiac surgeon whose work has been instrumental in advancing robotic cardiac surgery in Latin America. His primary research focus is the application of robotic-assisted techniques for complex cardiac procedures, including atrial septal defect correction and mitral valve repair.
