About
Dr. Reid Graves is a urologic surgeon whose research focuses on advancing minimally invasive robotic techniques to improve patient outcomes in both adult and pediatric urology. His most impactful work centers on refining the robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP), specifically through graded bladder neck preservation. In his highly cited 2013 study, he systematically defined degrees of bladder neck preservation and demonstrated that increasing preservation significantly enhances postoperative continence without compromising oncologic control—a critical balance for prostate cancer patients.
