About
Pei-Jen Lou is a pioneering head and neck surgeon whose research centers on minimally invasive robotic techniques for salivary gland disorders, with a particular focus on gland-preserving surgery. Her major contribution lies in demonstrating the feasibility and safety of robotic resection for benign submandibular gland tumors, challenging the traditional open surgical approach that often sacrifices the entire gland.
