About
Pascal Desgranges is a pioneering vascular surgeon whose work has significantly advanced the integration of robotic technology into complex aortic procedures. His research focuses on the development and clinical application of robotically assisted techniques for both open and endovascular surgery, particularly in the treatment of aorto-iliac and visceral aortic pathologies. Desgranges made a major contribution with his early work on robotically assisted aorto-femoral bypass grafting, documenting the feasibility and lessons learned from initial clinical experiences (42 citations). He further demonstrated the potential of robotic systems in endovascular surgery by evaluating the Magellan robotic catheter system for cannulating renal and visceral target vessels during complex aortic repairs.
