Dr. Palanivelu Chinnusamy is a pioneering Indian surgeon whose work has fundamentally advanced the field of minimally invasive and robotic surgery, particularly in complex gastrointestinal and oncologic procedures. His research focuses on establishing the safety, efficacy, and oncological equivalence of robotic and laparoscopic approaches for traditionally open surgeries.
