Omar El‐Taji is a urological surgeon and researcher whose work focuses on advancing robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques for prostate and bladder cancers. His major contributions center on evaluating national surgical trends, optimizing perioperative outcomes, and defining learning curves for robotic-assisted procedures. In a landmark analysis of over 12,600 radical cystectomies in England, he demonstrated national adoption patterns and complication rates across open, robotic, and laparoscopic approaches—a study that has garnered 19 citations.
