About

O. Prieto‐Ballesteros is a leading astrobiologist and planetary protection expert whose work bridges the gap between Earth’s most extreme environments and the search for life on Mars. Her key research areas include astrobiology, planetary protection, and the development of life-detection instrumentation for robotic space missions.
