Nathan Littlejohn is a urologic surgeon and researcher whose work centers on advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques, particularly in the management of testicular and kidney cancers. His most significant contribution is in the challenging domain of post-chemotherapy robotic retroperitoneal lymph node dissection (PC-RRPLND), a procedure for removing residual masses after chemotherapy for testicular cancer. His 2015 study, cited 47 times, provided critical early evidence that robotic surgery is a safe and effective option in this difficult setting, helping to expand the role of robotics beyond primary surgeries.
