N. Kubilay is a leading researcher in atmospheric aerosol science, with a primary focus on the transport and optical properties of mineral dust over the Mediterranean region. His work has been instrumental in characterizing how Saharan and Middle Eastern dust plumes impact the eastern Mediterranean atmosphere.
