Dr. Michael Scheidt is a pioneering colorectal and general surgeon whose work centers on advancing minimally invasive surgery through novel robotic and articulated laparoscopic platforms. His major contributions lie in the clinical evaluation and technical refinement of emerging surgical systems, moving beyond the industry-standard da Vinci® to explore alternatives like the Senhance™ Surgical Robotic System and the fully articulated, hand-held ArtiSential® instruments.
