About
Michael LaLonde is a pioneering cardiothoracic surgeon whose research centers on advancing minimally invasive and totally endoscopic robotic-assisted cardiac surgery. His major contributions lie in refining robotic techniques for complex mitral valve repair, including procedures for degenerative mitral regurgitation, ischemic mitral regurgitation with papillary muscle rupture, and redo operations after prior sternotomy or transcatheter aortic valve replacement.
