Marcello Scarcia is a urological surgeon and researcher whose work centers on robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery, with particular expertise in prostate cancer management and complex kidney stone treatment. Based at a high-volume surgical center, Scarcia has made significant contributions to the field of robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP), most notably championing the extraperitoneal approach.
