Dr. Madhava Agusala is a pioneering cardiothoracic surgeon whose work has fundamentally advanced the field of minimally invasive coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). His primary research focuses on robotic-assisted cardiac surgery, specifically the development and refinement of totally endoscopic coronary artery bypass (TECAB) and the use of bilateral internal thoracic arteries (BITAs) in these procedures.
