About
Lixian Zhu is a pioneering urologic surgeon whose research is redefining the boundaries of minimally invasive oncology and remote surgical technology. His primary focus lies in advancing robotic-assisted surgery for complex retroperitoneal tumors and pioneering the integration of 5G telecommunications into operative practice. Zhu’s major contribution is the development and validation of a unique four-arm, retroperitoneal approach for excising complicated retroperitoneal masses, a procedure traditionally considered among the most challenging in urologic oncology.
