About
Leon P. Gefert is a space propulsion and power systems researcher whose work has made meaningful contributions to NASA's long-term vision for deep space exploration. His research focuses primarily on electric propulsion technologies — both solar and nuclear — and their application to ambitious human and robotic missions throughout the solar system.
