Kok-Kwang Phoon is a pioneering figure in geotechnical engineering, renowned for his transformative work in machine learning applications, uncertainty quantification, and reliability-based design. As a Distinguished Professor at the Singapore University of Technology and Design, he has fundamentally reshaped how the field approaches data-driven geotechnics.
