About
Ken-ichi Nibu is a leading figure in head and neck surgical oncology, with a primary focus on minimally invasive techniques for treating cancers of the oropharynx, hypopharynx, and supraglottis. His major contribution is advancing transoral robotic surgery (TORS) as a standard of care, demonstrated by his pivotal 2021 multi-center retrospective study in Japan, which has garnered 28 citations for providing robust, real-world treatment outcomes comparing robotic and non-robotic approaches.
