About

Junming Zhu is a pioneering researcher at the intersection of neurosurgery and neural engineering, with key contributions to brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) and motor neuroprosthetics. His work focuses on developing clinically viable systems that bridge the gap between neural decoding and surgical precision. In his most cited study (17 citations), Zhu demonstrated a groundbreaking approach by integrating robotic navigation systems to assist in implanting intracortical BCI electrodes, significantly enhancing surgical accuracy and safety for chronic neural recordings.
